The Challenge
An American consumer products company identified an anonymous group of counterfeiters who were infringing on their trademarks and illegally selling counterfeit products into their home market.
Our Approach
The “first call” led to a successful anti-counterfeiting campaign of sting buys, documenting collected evidence and liaising with local authorities to remove offending counterfeiters from popular Chinese B2B e-commerce websites.
The Result
In addition to the counterfeiters initially identified by the client, we were able to identify and shut down 540 infringing operations in three months.
