Daniel Chee King Chow - Significant Recent Transactions

Mr. Chow has served as legal counsel to major international corporations for nearly a decade, handling all matters associated with general counsel positions, the production of all corporate legal documents, and government relations and corporate transactions.

In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Chow's recent experience includes handling all aspects of corporate joint ventures including the establishment of new joint ventures; the completion of first conversion and reorganization of client's joint venture into a wholly owned foreign enterprise; capital increase for joint ventures; and the establishment of an investment holding company to consolidate all management functions for client's Chinese joint ventures.

Mr. Chow has also worked extensively with corporate media, marketing and advertising departments on international compliance and advertising law issues, including lobbying efforts to change Chinese government and advertising laws.

His other corporate counsel responsibilities have encompassed all aspects of intellectual property including trademark applications, oppositions, and protection of trademarks against counterfeits and infringements; working extensively with the State Administration of Industry and Commerce officials on large scale enforcement actions in North and East China; initiating a coalition of multinational enterprises to combat counterfeiting in China and create a counterfeit enforcement system through lobbying before the Chinese government; and defending client in a high profile labor litigation.
